Why do burps give you such a bad taste in your mouth?
For example...a peice of pumpkin pie will leave a nasty taste.
Even worse a burrito...WOW.

Very insightful post.
I would guess the answer has to do with the different chemicals your stomach produces to breakdown and digest certain foods.
Then, when you burp, a little of the stink emitted by the acid concoction in your gut finds its way into the air.
Likewise, burps can taste nasty when a little of your stomach juice slips up your throat and into your mouth.
